In 1992, shortly after earning his bachelor’s degree in management of human resources, John moved to Boise, Idaho with his wife Sandy and their daughters.

After moving to Boise, John embarked on a 15-year career in the Healthcare industry as a Pharmaceutical and Medical Equipment Representative.

Five years after moving to the Treasure Valley in Idaho, John served on the Star, Idaho, City Council. The Emburys called Star their home for nearly 20 years.

In 2005, John co-founded MediSol LLC with his wife Sandy. That led to his becoming an Independent Insurance Agent/Broker and utilizing his Degree in Management of Human Resources.

Since 2016, MediSol LLC began working almost exclusively in the Medicare arena.

As a Medicare Advisor, John strives to meet the needs of Medicare beneficiaries helping them make informed decisions about their Medicare insurance options.

John and Sandy loved raising their daughters here in the Treasure Valley of Idaho. They have six grandchildren and he and Sandy celebrate their 40th Wedding Anniversary this August 2023.

In his free time, John enjoys hiking, backpacking, cycling, and trying his hand as an author. In fact, he might even have a few copies of his book, “By the Big Cedar Tree” that he can share. You’ll just have to ask for one.
